For years, GONE WITH THE WIND, was my all time favorite but recently was deposed by MILLION DOLLAR BABY. But I like several actors and actresses...Cruise, Eastwood, Mitchum, Wayne, Cage, Pitt, and Streep, Ryan (meg), Griffin, Roberts so I guess I like most movies if they are well acted and the theme interests me

I read a lot: history,autobiographies,biographies, historical novels, drama, love stories, crime series....not too much into sci-fi or creepy or stupid but love humorous

People who work hard, ask little, and love life despite the inevitable heartaches and heartbreaks that occur...Fishing, Nascar, theatre, good dining, adventure, chess, in fact just about anything if it's interesting and, of course, riding a Harley in the Iowa countryside without a helmet, a fine sunset in the sky, and a breeze in my face..ahhh...life's simplest pleasures are also it's most rewarding

Idiots, self-adoring personalities, phony people and Rap music!!

Just a man living in rural Iowa who has seen alot of life and has very few regrets....a cup half full is always preferable to a glass half empty...... interested in meeting friends from all over the world...maybe a woman who doesn't NEED a man but still appreciates a spontaneous moment under a waterfall, or a walk on a moonlit nite on the beach or maybe just cuddling in front of a warm hearth with a raging snowstorm outside....a self-assured woman who likes to be pampered once in a while but knows how to pamper in return....a woman who has seen life and understands the difference between sharing one's experiences and sniveling about them endlessly...a woman who can be a friend before being a lover and still retain the friendship should lover become an add-on....others need only to be honest and accepting of different points-of-view should they arise
