For years, GONE WITH THE WIND, was my all time favorite but recently was deposed by MILLION DOLLAR BABY. But I like several actors and actresses...Cruise, Eastwood, Mitchum, Wayne, Cage, Pitt, and Streep, Ryan (meg), Griffin, Roberts so I guess I like most movies if they are well acted and the theme interests me

I read a lot: history,autobiographies,biographies, historical novels, drama, love stories, crime series....not too much into sci-fi or creepy or stupid but love humorous

Just a man living in rural Iowa who has seen alot of life and has very few regrets....a cup half full is always preferable to a glass half empty...... interested in meeting friends from all over the world...maybe a woman who doesn't NEED a man but still appreciates a spontaneous moment under a waterfall, or a walk on a moonlit nite on the beach or maybe just cuddling in front of a warm hearth with a raging snowstorm outside....a self-assured woman who likes to be pampered once in a while but knows how to pamper in return....a woman who has seen life and understands the difference between sharing one's experiences and sniveling about them endlessly...a woman who can be a friend before being a lover...Others need to be aware that I suffer fools lightly and that honesty is a non-negotiable trait I insist on with any interaction!!
