Believe me I know all about the disqualification!! I'm still on medical leave due to my accident in May. My hubby is permanently disqualified to drive. He had massive heart attacks 1 1/2 years ago (at the age of 38), has over 50% damage to his heart and has a heart function of less than 35%. It drives him nuts not being able to drive but he's finally learning to deal with it and is not putting his time into things he is able to do, such as fundraising for Special Olympics. He can't do anything real physical, but is learning to pace himself and do what he can. He has a defibulator implanted and even has a hard time with going up stairs, things like that without being out of breath. Take care of yourself. The heart is not a thing to mess with. Take the doctors advice and stick to the diet, etc they give. It does help if there isn't too much damage done. Hope all is well and you are able to do what you want soon (even if that means work LOL) Best wishes that all will be well very soon!

"Temporarily disqualified to drive for medical reasons"....dreaded words for a working driver but, alas, supposedly had a heart attack "sometime in the past" so now must do a battery of tests!!! NEWS TO ME!!! For 41 years, I have been so healthy that I didn't even have a primary care physician!!! So now I am medical leave while my "new" primary physican orders a ton of tests to form a medical background from which to begin working!! Luckily, I have both short/long term disability benefits and cast-iron medical so we will see the system up close and personal....and I will blog my experiences as they develope so drop a line once a while since I suddenly have all this time on my hands
Lord have mercy driver!!! You better had take care of yourself! Maybe this was the big kahuna's way of telling you to take a vacation, huh? Well, anyway, my prayers are with you! Good hearing from you! I'm still trucking and strong as ever. Can't even tell I have a titanium plate in my neck! I was so afraid I wouldnt be able to chain down the steel, but I'm fit as a fiddle! Be safe!!
When it comes to dirt track racing I don't jest! LOL! I've known Lasoski for years and he is a really nice guy. Treats the younger racing fans as they should be treated. I grew up next door to Darrel Dawley (if you remember him) so you can say I grew up with dirt racin!
Zany world of dirt trackin huh? Well, we've got a really good high banked half miler here, they run stocks, mods & of course good ole sprints on a weekly basis. One of these days you'll have to come check it out. Once ya go dirt you never go back! (But yeah, I still like NASCAR & Tony Stewart)
